AMIRASHKAN ASKARI

Amirashkan Askari got his PhD from the University of Toronto in chemical engineering. His research interests include various sustainability and environmental topics, including greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, air pollution, and indoor air quality. He is currently working on resource demand of carbon dioxide removal technologies in Canada to ensure their sustainable deployment. His research also covers greenhouse gas and air pollutant emission scenarios and technology life cycle assessment. Along with his research, Amirashkan is passionate about mentorship, teaching, and community outreach.
