MALTE GLASER
Malte Glaser is a PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Calgary. His primary focus is on direct air capture (DAC), a cutting-edge technology in the field. Malte's previous research has revolved around optimizing DAC using rolling horizon techniques, taking into account dynamic weather conditions. Additionally, he has worked on the ecological and economic integration of DAC into existing energy infrastructures. Malte holds master's degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University in Beijing. During his academic journey, he had the opportunity to be an exchange student at Imperial College London and the University of Alberta in Edmonton. With his diverse background and expertise, Malte is making significant contributions to the field of chemical engineering and the advancement of direct air capture technology.
