Sasha Wilson is a Professor in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta. Dr. Wilson is a mineralogist and biogeochemist who developed the technical framework for monitoring, measuring, and verifying CO2 removal via enhanced weathering and carbonation of rock. He is currently the Canada Research Chair in Biogeochemistry of Sustainable Mineral Resources and the lead of the Environment Economic Geology Lab at the University of Alberta.
