Sylvia Sleep is the LCA/TEA lead for Activity 6.  She focuses on estimating the life cycle GHG emissions of emerging energy system and carbon conversion technologies and their mitigation potential relative to current incumbent processes. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Calgary. Prior to starting her faculty position, she completed an Eyes High postdoctoral fellowship in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary with a focus on systems-level assessments of carbon capture and utilization technologies.
